# Settings

This function allows you to change the bot's global settings. Access it by selecting **Settings** from the function dropdown.

## 1. Recovery Email Settings

Select how the bot generates recovery email addresses when running [Set Recovery Email](/guide/dexcore-guide-fr/modules/outlook-hotmail/features/set-recovery-email.md).

| Option           | What You Put in Recovery Email Column | Result                      |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Email name**   | Nothing (leave empty)                 | `test8@yourdomain.com`      |
| **Custom names** | Name only (e.g. `JohnDoe`)            | `JohnDoe3@yourdomain.com`   |
| **Random names** | Nothing (leave empty)                 | `xK7mP2q@yourdomain.com`    |
| **Full address** | Full email (e.g. `user@gmail.com`)    | Uses exactly what you typed |

**Full address** lets you specify an exact email address including any domain (including Gmail or external domains).

## 2. Aliases Email Settings

Select how the bot generates alias addresses when running [Aliases](/guide/dexcore-guide-fr/modules/outlook-hotmail/features/aliases.md).

| Option           | What You Put in Custom Aliases Column | Result                           |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Email name**   | Nothing (leave empty)                 | Based on the original email name |
| **Custom names** | Name only (e.g. `MyAlias`)            | `MyAlias3@yourdomain.com`        |
| **Random names** | Nothing (leave empty)                 | Fully random name                |

{%% hint style="info" %%} When using **Custom names**, fill in the **Custom Aliases** column in your task file before running the bot. Enter only the name before `@` — for example, `JohnDoe` to get `JohnDoe@outlook.com`. The bot adds the domain automatically. {%% endhint %%}

## 3. Language Settings

Sets the account language to **English** if it wasn't initially configured.

**When to use:** If you purchased accounts that were set up in another language, enable this so the bot navigates the Outlook interface correctly and you can use the account manually in English.

This changes the display language of the Outlook account — it does not affect passwords, 2FA, or any other security settings.

## 4. License Information

Displays your **license key** and the **expiry date/time** of the license.
