# Accounts

{% hint style="info" %}
**What are "accounts" in this context?** These are Outlook/Hotmail email accounts that you purchase from third-party sellers and then set up using DexCore.
{% endhint %}

## Where Do I Buy Accounts?

Accounts are purchased from **third-party sellers** — DexCore does not sell accounts. You can find sellers on forums, Telegram groups, or Discord servers that specialize in selling Outlook/Hotmail accounts.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Tips for choosing a seller:**

* Look for sellers with good reviews and reputation
* Ask other users in the DexCore Discord for recommendations
* Start with a small batch to test quality before buying in bulk
* Accounts **with a token (session)** are statistically the most reliable
  {% endhint %}

## Account Quality

For best performance, use only **verified aged accounts** (accounts that have existed for a while). Newly registered accounts are more likely to get blocked.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**For freshly purchased accounts:** always run [Check Emails](/guide/dexcore-guide-fr/modules/outlook-hotmail/features/check-emails.md) (Check for Security) first to confirm accounts have no existing protection. Skip this if you've already verified the accounts.
{% endhint %}

If an account already has protection (recovery email, 2FA, or phone number), you most likely won't be able to set your own security — unless you have access to the existing protection.

## How Security Depends on Each Other

To change the security settings, you need access to the existing security features:

* To **change 2FA**, you need access to the **recovery email**
* To **change the recovery email**, you need access to **2FA**
* Having access to one lets you change the other, and then you can update the first

## Token (Session) Accounts

{% hint style="success" %}
Whenever possible, purchase accounts **with a token (session)**.

**What is a token/session?** It's a saved login state — like a "remember me" cookie. Accounts with tokens are statistically more reliable because it proves the account was recently active and accessible.
{% endhint %}

However, accounts without a token can also work. It depends on the seller's quality.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Some accounts from less trustworthy sellers may get **locked after 2–3 days** of use. If that happens, you can try unlocking them using the corresponding function in DexCore — though it will require spending some phone numbers.

If this keeps happening, switch to a better seller.
{% endhint %}
