# Installation

**System Requirements**

* **OS:** Windows 10 / Windows 11 / Windows Server 2016+
* **Internet:** Stable connection required
* **.NET:** Runtime may be required (the bot will notify you)

### 1. Download DexCore

Download the bot from the [💾┇download](https://discord.com/channels/1404454457512693781/1404460359846461500/1409882955991486524) channel on our Discord server.

You will get a `.zip` file.

### 2. Extract and Launch

Extract (unzip) all files into a folder. Keep all files together in one directory — the bot requires them to run properly.

### 3. Log in with your key

Open `DexCore.exe` and enter your license key.

1. Find your **license key** — check your Discord DMs or the purchase confirmation.
2. Paste it into the **"Please insert the key"** field.
3. Click **"Log In"**.

**No key?** Check the Discord server for purchase info, or open a support ticket.

### 4. Install Ron's CSV Editor

Install [**Ron's CSV Editor**](https://www.ronsplace.ca/products/ronscsveditor) to manage your task files (`.csv` files).

Avoid using Excel for CSV files — it can silently change formatting and break the data. Ron's CSV Editor keeps the format intact.
